Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Senior and an intermediate Sharepoint IT consultant to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis for 3 to 6 months. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary and an excellent working environment.

Description

Our client requires a Senior and Intermediate  Sharepoint Consultant who will be responsible for developing an intern’s recruitment portal on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. The Consultants are expected to co-create the platform with designated officials from the IT department and ensure training and capacity development across all aspects of the design, development, testing and implementation of the platform according to specifications which will be provided. The Consultants will also be expected to produce a detailed training manual and provide all relevant and detailed documentation on the system/portal.

The scope of work and expectations of the developers seconded to a client will include the following:

• Design the structure together with designated IT staff from IT Division;
• Under every step of the process together with the designated IT staff in order to capacitate them;
• Develop the database structure for system using MS SQL; 
• Develop user interface and functionality using SharePoint for both back end and front end (host institute, intern application);
• Follow project plan to ensure completion of project within specified time;
• Develop reports for all user groups.
• Develop all modules for the portal as required by the user specification.
• Produce training manual for IT staff with respect to the co-creation of the platform
• Provide detailed documentation regarding all system specifications and other relevant information. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of web design and development experience in SharePoint
• Experience in relational database design and implementation with Microsoft SQL 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online
• Experience in creating workflows using SharePoint Designer
• Experience in Front-end and back-end development
• REST API knowledge/integration
• Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, jQuery
• Ability to prepare and present training to business users (Site Owners, Channel Owners, etc.)
• Ability to migrate information from
• Proven experience in training and capacity development of IT personnel in the design, testing, implementation and management of such system
• Service providers must be based in Pretoria; although will be expected to work remotely and on site as required.
