SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role is suited to a qualified CA(SA) with strong financial accounting experience who can take ownership of reporting, compliance, controls, and financial processes while partnering with the business to drive performance.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
Minimum 5 years' post-articles experience
Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
Experience preparing annual financial statements and managing month-end reporting
Advanced knowledge of IFRS and financial controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
Proven track record in financial accounting rather than specialist tax, VAT, or consulting-only roles
Experience leading or mentoring junior finance staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage the month-end and year-end close process
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
Prepare annual financial statements and support external audits
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Monitor cash flow and working capital performance
Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies within the finance function
Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
