Server Engineer

SUMMARY:
An opportunity for a Server Engineer has come up. This opportunity is within the Infrastructure and Operations Management division of a well established company in the insurance industry.

POSITION INFO:

Key Experience Required : 

4 –7 years solid experience

• Microsoft Windows Server Operating system (2008/2012/2016/2019)
• Microsoft Failover clustering and High Availability technology
• Understanding and application of API/Integration key concepts
• Scripting/programming languages (Powershell and C#)
• Virtualisation (VMWare and HyperV)
• MS Exchange (2013 or newer)
• SMTP/POP3
• HTML
• System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Backup (Veeam)
• Backup (Cloud)
• Fortigate Firewall Administration
• Terminal Services
• Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS)

The following will serve as Beneficial Skills:

• MailMarshal
• Universe / D3 Skills
• Vagrant /Docker/ Virtualbox / Chef / Puppet / Ansible
• Sound understanding of Agile methods
• Networking
• Nagios / Logic Monitor
