Server Hardware Engineer

POSITION INFO:
The Role:

Essential functions:

• Project Implementation
• Hardware Break-fix.
• Troubleshooting client issues and identifying problem areas and / or Hardware.

Essential Qualification:

• Matric
• HPE ASE Server
• HPE ASE Storage
• VMware VCP
• Professional Client engagement

Preferred Qualification:

• Huawei Server and Storage
• Dell Server and Storage
• Fibre channel switches and Zoning.
• iSCSI configurations.
• LUN presentations.

Experience required:

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Evaluate designs to determine the most efficient and effective solution.

Work environment:

• Datacentre environments

Physical demands:

• Rack and stack of hardware equipment.

Travel:

• To client sites.

• Ability to work as part of a team.
