Service Advisor/Workshop Administrator

Overview:
A specialist Land Rover service centre based in Montague Gardens, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. This front-line role serves as the key link between our customers and workshop staff, ensuring a smooth, professional, and well-communicated service experience.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to service enquiries
• Meet and greet customers at reception in a professional and friendly manner
• Book vehicles into the workshop, clearly capturing customer concerns and service requirements
• Open and maintain job cards with accurate and up-to-date information
• Coordinate service timelines with the Workshop Manager
• Keep customers informed on progress, expected completion times, and any changes
• Ensure completed work is properly invoiced before customer collection
• Brief customers on work completed and handover vehicles
• Handle any customer concerns or queries in a calm and solution-oriented manner

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Experience in the automotive industry, MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in a similar service advisor or front-of-house role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable using computer systems and invoicing software
• Good understanding of motor vehicles; Land Rover knowledge is a distinct advantage
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
