  The Role:

  Essential function:

  • Oversee the delivery of services to customers
  • Manage the teams who provide services for customersâ?? environments, ensuring technical resolutions are provided, diagnosed and all problems are resolved 
  • Proactively manage the technical teams to ensure customers system stability and availability
  • Function closely with the Service Desk to serve customers · Mentor and provide coaching to all reportees
  • Regular customer reviews on all aspects of service delivery for feedback on performance and address issues as they arise
  • Contribution to proposals on service delivery requirements in conjunction with sales, solutions and bid office 
  • Crafting the scope and pricing of the services components of contracts
  • Oversight of workshop function for pre-staging and repairs
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualification:

  • Matric
  • Technical: Knowledge of Server Storage Hardware, VMware. Networking 
  • Service Desk management 
  • People management skills
  • Partner and sub-contractor management
  • Sound knowledge of Services Contracting, with good command of business English
  • Pricing â?? knowledge of crafting and modelling pricing for services and projects 
  • Ability to ensure seamless co-operation across departments within the business and the group BUâ??s

  Preferred Qualification:

  • Degree, Management Certification 
  • HPE ASE Server Storage
  • VMware VCP
  • Huawei, Aruba Networking

  Experience required:

  • At least 5 yearsâ?? deep experience in managing senior engineers, engaging customers at an operational level, contracting and pricing in the infrastructure environment
  Other:

  Work environment:

  • Office and remote. Customer premises as needed

  Physical demands:

  • This is an office/customer site management role

  Travel:
