JOB SUMMARY:
Service Engineer - Satellite Communications
Centurion
R 15 000.00 to R 20 000.00 CTC per month

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for VSAT installation support, Customer Support & Service, within the service team
Responsible for liaising with the Satellite Operator & Field Engineers to bring the new Sites into the Network and interacting with the Customers, Vendors, Satellite Operators for resolution of Service-related problems

Qualifications:

National Diploma: Engineering: Electrical (preferable majoring in Telecommunications)
Recognized Network Administrator qualification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTNA)

Requirements:

2 years' work experience.
Solid Network Knowledge (TCP/IP, Routing basics, understanding of VoIP principles)
Should possess good communication skills, and be resourceful in problem-solving, planning and implementing pro-active processes to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention
Any RF Telecommunication knowledge and experience will be advantageous.
