SUMMARY:
We are looking for a proactive Service Manager to oversee all technical service operations, ensuring peak team performance, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong track record in managing technicians, streamlining maintenance processes, and guaranteeing the dependable operation of industrial refrigeration and compressor systems

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to service technicians, fostering professional growth and peak performance
Manage day-to-day service operations, including job scheduling and resource allocation
Ensure prompt, high-quality maintenance and repairs of refrigeration and compressor systems
Drive process improvements to boost efficiency, safety, and response times
Monitor KPIs, control budgets, and compile service reports to achieve operational excellence

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration or rotating equipment maintenance
At least 2 years in a leadership or service management capacity
Strong technical proficiency in compressors, electrical systems, and PLC controls
Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and elevate service quality
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Qualification:

Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
SAQCC Gas Category B8 license (advantageous)
Strong foundation in compressor maintenance and industrial refrigeration systems
Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel locally and internationally
Proven experience in service management or supervisory roles

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
