Position Overview:

There is an exciting new position available for a Service Operational Specialist at a globally recognised Medical Diagnostics concern that specialises in the industries of Diagnostics and Life Sciences.

The responsibility of the Service Operational Specialist is to build and deploy a tactical plan leading to a strong operational plan for the entire Africa region. 

Through innovation and connectivity initiatives, one will be enabling teams to sell more profitable services with a focus on recurring revenue. This will be achieved by creating competition and market intelligence for services, collaborating with Sales teams, and maximizing the value extraction from the company’s current and future installed base.

As a result of this, the position will be the customer’s trusted advisor and key competition differentiator for the sales teams.

Key Strategic Performance Areas:

• Team up with Local Sales and Service teams to improve customer experience.
• Listen to VOCs and transform data into tangible action for improvement.
• Provide critical information to the Service Leader.
• Seize the opportunities unveiled with level of effort, revenue potential and time to market.
• Drive service operation initiatives and position as market differentiators.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree / MBA required
• 5- 8 Years related experience working in a Customer Service specialist within the medical diagnostic industry
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Proven leadership skills
• Fluent in English
