SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an independent contractor to integrate SharePoint and OneDrive document management with a new enterprise data platform, ensuring seamless document access and efficient data flow across operations.

POSITION INFO:
SharePoint Developer (Mid-Level) – Independent Contractor
Contract: 6-month fixed-term (renewable)
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg (Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Microsoft Graph API connections for document data extraction
• Create automated document workflows and metadata extraction processes
• Build SharePoint components for accessing the data platform
• Ensure synchronization of document-related data with the central platform

• 3+ years SharePoint Online development experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Experience with REST APIs and webhooks
• Familiarity with Azure AD authentication

• Python for data integration
• Experience with document analytics
• Power BI embedded reports
• Microsoft Teams integration
• Workflow automation expertise

• 3 to 5 years in SharePoint development roles
• Proven experience with API integrations
• Solid understanding of document management best practices
• Experience implementing solutions at enterprise scale
