SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent with strong leadership ability, formal tertiary qualifications, and proven experience in the construction of multi-level (4 storeys and higher), upmarket developments.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Interpret architectural and construction drawings and translate them into executable site activities
Plan, manage, and control the construction programme, including sequencing and critical paths
Manage daily site operations and supervise foremen, leading hands, and labour teams
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure programme and quality compliance
Control and manage site resources including labour, plant, and materials
Implement and enforce quality control and assurance procedures
Monitor and control project costs and site budgets
Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and health & safety requirements
Proactively identify, assess, and resolve construction and site-related issues
Maintain clear communication with management, consultants, and project stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum: BTech in Building Construction
Preferred: BSc in Construction Management

Experience

Minimum 6 years’ proven experience in a managerial role as a Site Agent
Proven experience managing multi-level (minimum 4 storeys), upmarket construction projects, or defined sections thereof
Demonstrated leadership of site teams including foremen, leading hands, and labourers

Technical & Professional Competencies

Experience in compiling and managing construction programmes using Candy, MS Project, or similar
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and buildability
High attention to detail and quality-driven approach suited to high-end developments
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Diligent, accountable, and self-assertive
