A leading Property Development and Property Management Company is seeking a proactive and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse Industrial, Retail and Agricultural Property Portfolio based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

About the Role
As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the daily maintenance and presentation of multiple commercial properties while ensuring all buildings, gardens and common areas are maintained to the highest standard.
You will coordinate contractors, oversee preventative maintenance, manage soft services and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contractors across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Property Maintenance Supervise daily property maintenance activities Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance Conduct routine property inspections Identify maintenance requirements Ensure all maintenance work is completed to a high standard Contractor Management Manage external contractors and service providers Monitor contractor performance Ensure service level agreements are achieved Schedule maintenance works Verify completed work before sign-off Landscaping & Gardens Oversee all landscaping activities Maintain gardens and green spaces to exceptional standards Coordinate irrigation maintenance Supervise gardening contractors Ensure seasonal planting and landscape improvements Soft Services Manage cleaning contractors Supervise waste management services Oversee hygiene services Coordinate pest control Ensure common areas remain clean and well presented Health & Safety Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act Conduct routine health and safety inspections Identify and report safety risks Ensure contractor compliance Maintain health and safety documentation Property Inspections Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections Report maintenance defects Monitor building conditions Ensure high presentation standards Prepare inspection reports Facilities Support Assist with minor maintenance coordination Monitor utilities and site services Support Facilities Management initiatives Assist with project coordination Ensure operational continuity across all properties Administration & Reporting Maintain maintenance records Prepare contractor reports Update maintenance schedules Track work orders Report on site activities and maintenance progress Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) National Diploma or qualification in Facilities Management, Building Management, Property Management or a related field (advantageous) Minimum 5 years' experience in Property Maintenance, Facilities Management or Site Supervision Experience managing contractors Experience within Industrial, Retail or Agricultural properties Strong landscaping and garden maintenance knowledge Sound understanding of building maintenance Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation Valid South African driver's licence Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Highly Advantageous Property Management experience Facilities Management Commercial Property Industrial Property Retail Property Agricultural Property Estate Management Landscaping Irrigation Systems Horticulture Building Maintenance Soft Services Management Contractor Management Preventative Maintenance SHEQ OHS Compliance Project Coordination Key Skills Site Supervision Property Maintenance Facilities Management Landscaping Garden Maintenance Contractor Management Building Maintenance Property Inspections Preventative Maintenance Soft Services Cleaning Services Irrigation Health & Safety OHS Compliance SHEQ Facilities Coordination Work Order Management Commercial Property Industrial Property Retail Property Agricultural Property Property Operations Service Provider Management Asset Care Operational Excellence Why Join This Opportunity?
