JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Metallurgy industry, has an opportunity available for a Site Manager to be based in the Cato Ridge, KZN area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Proven 5 years Experience in a managerial position in an Industrial environment (Mining/Smelter is an advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid drivers license
Technical Background (Mechanical or Metallurgical) is a differential
Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members

KPAs:

Adhere to planning to ensure smooth operation of site.
Manage the raw materials, final product and consumables stock levels to ensure plant productivity.
Produce managerial reports.
Perform root cause analysis and propose/resolve problems.
Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
People Management
