SUMMARY:
Our client, experts in surface production drilling, blasting, underground mining, and infrastructural development, is seeking a seasoned Site SHEQ Manager.

Location: Tharisa (Marikana)

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
Over 5 years SHEQ experience in a Mining environment at least at a Chief Safety Officer or SHEQ Manager Level.
Experience in SHEQ Governance and Risk Management.
Experience with DMRE in investigations, visits, section 54 + 55 issues.
Able to manage different teams and cultures to achieve results.
Ability to work in a macro environment and communicate at all levels of the organization.
Ability to effectively investigate incidents / accidents
Advantage: Underground/Open-Pit inspections, blasting and drilling experience.

Education:
NADSAM or equivalent SHEQ qualification (Advantageous)
SAMTRAC and COMSOC 1 & 2 (Must)
ISO 14001, 9001, 45001
Strata Control and Risk Management
Legal Liability
Competent A
HIRA
Language(s): English + other
Report writing & Presentation skills
