Job Description

We are looking to employ Trolley Porter Site Supervisors/Manager for the following sites in Cape Town:-

Paarl Mall
Houtbay
Kenilworth
Somerset Mall
N1 City

As a Trolley Supervisor/Site Manager you will be responsible for:

The supervision of all trolley porting staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of trolleys and their behaviour whilst on duty
Ensuring that a first-class service is delivered to the client.
Reviewing work schedules
Continuous daily feedback on respective WhatsApp company groups
Liaising with Area Manager regarding trolley cleaning materials
Monitoring of all trolley activities
Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Completion and submission of Timesheets and Kronos Reports on site
Ensuring that trolley bay is always full in store
Ensuring that all staff adhere to positive customer service
Ensuring that staff work according to site schedule provided
Monitoring and ensuring code of conduct is adhered to by all staff on site
Daily communication with store manager and/or operations manager
Ensuring no trolley loss on site
Ensuring discipline of staff is adhered to on site
Always ensuring hygiene of trolleys before replenishing trolley bay
Ensuring that morning counts are submitted daily accurately
Ensuring that closing pictures and counts are submitted daily

Requirements:

Leadership skills
Must have trolley porting experience
Clear criminal record
Must have a smart phone and be to communicate on WhatsApp
Must be able to take instructions
Ability to count
Must be Bilingual (Ability to communicate in English and IsiXhosa)
Professional attitude and capability and personal initiative
The ability to interact professionally with the client
