Reputable Asset Mgt firm seeks Corp Actions professional. Pivotal role to review and interpret depository bulletins, circulars and other docs to ensure appropriate, accurate and timeously rates and details. Manage and review the daily transactions processed. Provide training, assist with queries, new project initiatives and system improvements. 2-year FTC. Great culture

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform relevant checks and ensure pertinent info is processed accurately daily such as:
  • Interest, maturities and rate resets. Local and foreign dividends and events in the market. Mark to market on derivatives, and relevant closeouts.
• Perform necessary checks and ensure the following info is processed monthly:
  • Money Market interest distributions and reinvestments. Unit trust distributions and reinvestments. Rebates and reinvestments.
• Ensure proxies have been loaded accurately and completely in the system for voting.
• Ensure proxy and elective event automated messages or instructions are sent timeously.
• Ensure AMH swift exceptions have been cleared daily.
• Ensure the Corporate Actions Automated system tool is running smoothly.
• Ensure any Corporate Action changes in legislation have been raised.
• Check reconciliations daily and ensure team investigate and process breakdowns.
• Attend to clients’ queries and ensure transparent communication
• Ensure process documentation is kept up to date.
• Complete Corporate Actions Exco Report on a monthly basis
• Represent the firm at ASISA and other industry forums
• Manage and motivate a team, including KPIs.
• Other key duties to be discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Degree. Hons an adv.
• Strong exp in Corp Actions in Fin Serv (Asset Mgt pref).
• Skilled in MS Office, HiPort, CARD and Bloomberg.
