POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure database solutions that meet business requirements.

Education, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Degree: ICT degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience:
  • 6+ years in requirements gathering, project management, technical writing, and database design & implementation.
  • 5+ years in SQL development and reporting/dashboarding (PowerBI, SRSS, MSSQL).
  • 3+ years in data management, migrations, warehousing, and modeling.
  • 2+ years in data governance and mentoring junior resources.
  • Experience in cloud database solutions (Azure) is an advantage.

• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to collect, document, and review business requirements.
• Database Design and Implementation: Design and manage complex databases and data structures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Database Modelling: Create and maintain logical and physical data models to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• SQL Development: Develop and optimize SQL scripts, queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Data Migration: Migrate data between sources while ensuring integrity and accuracy.
• Data Management: Handle large volumes of data, ensuring quality, accuracy, and security.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement models for data verification and validation.
• Reporting & Dashboarding: Develop dashboards and reports to visualize trends and patterns using tools like PowerBI, SRSS, and MSSQL.
• Data Warehousing: Build and maintain data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integration and cleaning.
• Technical Writing: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Project Management: Follow project management standards and best practices.
• Data Governance: Implement policies to ensure data security and integrity.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
