ELECTRONIC ENGINEER/ SYSTEM ENGINEER: AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRONIC DESIGN

Pretoria- East

Electrical / electronic design activities on vehicles and the responsibility to manage external suppliers and subcontractors

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate Degree in Electronic Engineering, or
B-Tech Degree in Electrical/electronic Engineering

SOFTWARE CAPABILITY
Ideally not essential: Unigraphics or other CAD experience & Siemens Teamcentre 11 or relevant PDM system


EXPERIENCE

• 8 – 10 years relative Electrical Engineering experience in an Automotive field.
• Previous experience in the military vehicle environment advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical project engineer
• Electrical / Electronic system engineering.
• Electrical Design and Development partner management.
• Design implementation and qualification, usually up to manufacturing Baseline.
• Resolution of problematic fielded systems (local and international)
• Responsible for all electrical design, development, simulation and testing
