Senior Product Manager - Investments

Reputable Asset Mgt firm seeks driven individual. Pivotal role to design and deliver Investment Product and Customer Proposition strategies. Manage entire product life cycle, develop or enhance products, improve customer experience. Partner with Investment Mgt, RFP, Marketing and other key stakeholders. Newly created role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be instrumental in managing the Distribution product function.
• Product Development of new products (or enhancement of existing products).
• On-going product lifecycle management. Own the product design and development process.
• Partner with the business to improve end-to-end customer experience.
• Monitoring existing propositions and ensure they meet customer needs, commercial promise and Investments standards.
• Organise regular product reviews with key stakeholders.
• Evaluate product performance, elicit feedback and identify improvements in the proposition.
• Partner with Investment Mgt to create and update suite of core product.
• Ensure suitable Marketing and Client-service materials, in collaboration with marketing.
• Be the link between Distribution and Investment platform.
• Spokesperson for investment team. Understand investment process and market outlook.
• Understand client segment/region/channel strategies across Retail and Institutional distribution channels.
• Review and update product update and prospecting decks, fact sheets on all platforms.
• Collaborate with RFP team and Portfolio Managers to create/improve RFP language, ensure consistent implementation of strategy positioning.
• Keep up-to-date with customer, competitor and industry trends and insights.
• Maintain knowledge on current and emerging investment propositions.
• Working closely with product marketing team on product campaigns.

Qualification and Experience:

• B.Com or BSc. Honours
• Product Mgt exp in Asset Management or Investments. Understand Unit trusts.
• Exp in Product and Proposition design and delivery for investments.
