Our client is a South Africa Brand internationally recognised and appealing to the luxury market and they are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take ownership of its social media presence and help elevate the brand across multiple digital platforms. Reporting to the Brand, Content & Design Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing the brand's social media strategy, creating engaging content that reflects the prestige of the brand, grows audience engagement and strengthens its digital presence across multiple platforms. You will combine creativity with data-driven decision-making to deliver campaigns that resonate with local and international audiences. Your key responsibilities will include the following : Develop and execute an engaging social media strategy aligned with the brand's marketing objectives. Plan, create and publish compelling content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social platforms. Produce high-quality graphics, short-form videos, reels and other visual content that reflects the luxury positioning of the brand, using CapCut, Premier Pro or similar software. Manage the social media content calendar and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. Monitor engagement, respond appropriately to audiences and build meaningful online communities. Track campaign performance, analyse social media metrics and provide insightful reporting with recommendations for continuous improvement. Identify emerging trends, platform updates and new opportunities to enhance the brand's digital presence. Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team and external creative partners to deliver exceptional campaigns. For your application to be considered, my client requires the following: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies or a related qualification. Relevant certifications in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing would be advantageous. 2-5 years' experience managing social media for a luxury brand or an agency where your client base included luxury brands. Proven success developing and implementing effective social media strategies. Experience creating content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms. Strong content creation skills, including graphic design and short-form video editing. Experience using social media scheduling, publishing and reporting platforms. Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting performance data and translating insights into effective action plans. Experience within the travel, tourism, hospitality or lifestyle sectors would be highly advantageous.
