Social Media Manager

SUMMARY:
Large established retail company with a Head Office in Midrand and a large number of divisions and branches throughout South Africa seeks to employ an experienced Social Media Manager.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Social Media Strategy and manage the full range of Social Media Accounts for all the brands.  A strong technical know-how combined with strong crisis management, customer management and a proven ability to build social media communities will be key in this role.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevent Degree / Diploma
• 3+ Years experience in Social Media Management (retail industry)
• Facebook Blueprint Certification
• Good understanding of Social Media KPI''s
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms and best practices
• Ability to measure campaign success
• Knowledge of Design / Design Thinking
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, pressurised environment
• ITC / Crim Clear
• Own transport
