POSITION INFO:
The Social Media Specialist role is suitable for an experienced marketing professional seeking to make a significant contribution to the development of a highly proficient and successful marketing capability

Qualification and experience

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
Digital Marketing experience will be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
Experience as a social media specialist or similar position.
Experience using various analytics software.
Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including GMB, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook
Ability to use social media for brand awareness and lead generation.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience doing audience research and competitor analysis.
Familiarity with publishing and web design.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
