The Social Media Specialist role is suitable for an experienced marketing professional seeking to make a significant contribution to the development of a highly proficient and successful marketing capability

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
• Digital Marketing experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
• Experience as a social media specialist or similar position.
• Experience using various analytics software.
• Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including GMB, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook
• Ability to use social media for brand awareness and lead generation.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience doing audience research and competitor analysis.
• Familiarity with publishing and web design.
