Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for and involved in the planning, managing and executing projects related to the field of social performance management. These projects will include socio-economic impact assessment, development and implementation of social management and monitoring plans, resettlement action plans, stakeholder engagement plans and socio-economic development plans. The role will involve work on a national and international level encompassing the following: proposal writing; fieldwork planning and execution; data analysis; stakeholder engagement; technical reporting; client liaison; internal and external resourcing (e.g. contractors); logistics planning; and budgeting and quality assurance.

Qualification and Skills:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A Masters-level qualification in Social Sciences or similar.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a social consultant.
- Experience in economic assessments (would be advantageous).
- Proficiency in English (additional languages will be an added advantage).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and passport as well as own transport.
- Be able to travel internationally on projects.
- Strong report writing and verbal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet project deadlines.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
