SUMMARY:

Solutions Architect

Build. Architect. Innovate.

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to work closely with our clients to design and deliver innovative, scalable technology solutions.
This is not a purely hands-off architecture role. Our Solutions Architects work directly with clients and development teams, combining strong architectural thinking with hands-on software engineering. You’ll be expected to get involved in the code while also taking ownership of the broader solution architecture and technical direction.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design and define end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Remain hands-on with software development and coding, particularly using .NET or Java.
Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and production-ready solutions where required.
Define application architecture, integration approaches, APIs, data flows, and technical standards.
Collaborate with developers, engineering teams, and other architects to ensure solutions are effectively designed and delivered.
Review code and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
Work on client sites when required, acting as a trusted technical partner and hands-on engineering leader.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you are an experienced software engineer who has progressed into architecture and still enjoys writing code.

We’re looking for:

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Software Engineer with significant architecture experience.
A strong hands-on development background in .NET or Java.
Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modern engineering practices.
Experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level applications and solutions.
Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, integration, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
Experience working directly with clients and technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical and effective technical solutions.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and supporting engineering teams.
Strong understanding of development methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and secure software development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

You're comfortable challenging technical decisions, explaining architecture to stakeholders, and rolling up your sleeves when something needs to be built. Most importantly, you're an architect who still thinks like an engineer .
