SUMMARY:
Software design at International company. Electronic/mechatronic engineer required who enjoys embedded software development. Embedded RTOS design for vehicle display units. C programming essential and skills on Qt, Qml and C++ beneficial.

POSITION INFO:

EMBEDDED Software Engineer:

Cape Town

International company.Embedded development, -verification and -maintenance of software on display hardware. Skills needed in RTOS and microprocessir designs.

Qualification:

B.Tech or B Eng. Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic Engineering
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
1-5 years experience inb embedded design

Experience Required:

Experience with Qt and QML, in an embedded environment will be beneficial
Experience with C++ in Linux and GIT development environments will be beneficial
Field testing and verification of embedded hardware in the automotive environment
Familiarity with CODESYS
Experience in software certification processes will be beneficial

Responsibilities:
• Embedded software development for products in the automotive environment
• Take ownership of the software development for the product portfolio
• Responsible for development, -verification and -maintenance of software
• Field- and verification testing
• Support software development

• Work with controller hardware suppliers during product development
