Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Software Developer Intern

Stipend: R5 500.00

Location: Centurion

POSITION INFO:
Software Developer Intern
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement software applications using C++, C#, and python.
Integrate APIs into software applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Optimize software applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with the backend and front-end team to design and implement RESTful
APIs for data exchange.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure
high-quality performance.
Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or
modifications of an existing system.
Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
System testing and validation procedures.

Requirements:

A qualification in Software Development
Experience working with databases and querying data using SQL or NoSQL.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into software
applications.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Develop software applications using languages like C++ or python.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
