  The Role:

  We are looking for a Software Developer â?? Senior BA Consultant for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Centurion/Pretoria.

  • IT Business Analysis (Diploma/Degree)

   

   

  Skills and Experience:
  • German language (advantageous)
  • 5 years overall BA experience and at least 4 years custom developed solutions experience
  • Web and digital project experience (advantageous)
  • Agile working experience advantageous
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Business case development
  • Modelling techniques and method
  • Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analysing functional requirements
  • Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
  • Master strategic business process modelling, traceability and quality management techniques
  • Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving

  • Assisting with the business case
  • Planning and monitoring
  • Eliciting requirements
  • Requirements organization
  • Translating and simplifying requirements
  • Requirements management and communication
  • Requirements analysis
  • Document requirements in appropriate format depending on methodology followed
  • Assist with identification and management of risks
  • Agile development methodology
  • Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation
  Personality and Attributes:
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
  • Customer orientation skills
  • Work well with a team and independently
  • Above board work ethics â?? this is of utmost importance.
  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
  • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
