POSITION INFO:

An esteemed institution in the banking sector is presently searching for a Software Quality Engineer I with notable automation and development experience to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

In this position, you will use the automation framework and pre-defined test tools to inspect, analyse, design, develop and implement re-usable automated test assets to quality assure the solution and its architecture ensure the overall quality of the solution. As part of the team, you will work closely with numerous stakeholders to meet the expectations of the company’s clientele. You will build relationships and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to improve business processes, models and systems.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of test automation experience
• Java Development with J2EE and/or Springboot
• Programming (OOP)
• Testing of Web & Mobile frontend and APIs
• Insprint automation
• Non-Functional Testing and integration into DevOps pipelines
• Selenium
• Maven
• JIRA & Confluence
• REST Assured & SoapUI
• BBD & TDD
• Continuous Integration process with Jenkins/Azure
• Exposure to Cloud technology

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12/ National Senior Certificate.
• Computer Science Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Bootcamp training in Agile and DevOps preferred.
• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent (ISEB)
