Software Systems Designer

Our Client based in Johannesburg is seeking a Software Systems Designer to translate business, other stakeholder requirements and user stories into system requirement and act as a link between business analyst, other requirements stakeholders and the software team.
To translate overarching end to end design into detailed designs across multiple assets groupings (higher level of complexity) and provide technical leadership to the software developers and other designers.

Requirements:

• Matric with Maths
• Diploma / Certificate relevant
• Certificate in relevant solution design methodologies where available

• IT Application (advanced)
• IT Domain Knowledge (advanced)

• Software Quality Assurance (advanced)
• Systems Design (advanced)
• Trouble Shooting ability (advanced)
• IT Feature / Product / Business Analysis (Advanced)
• Requirements Analysis and Design Definition (Advanced)

NB. Experience required:

• Have a deep technical background (10+ years of crunching code)
• Workied as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Software Developer (taking development knowledge into a design-centred role)
• Ability to present his/her designs to a hardcore panel and confidently motivate why this is the right way forward (and be able to take feedback well)
• Be the go-to technical resource regarding matters relating to Angular, JAVA JEE, WPS, BPM
• Involvement in System Design
• Understanding of design processes from end to end
• Must have produced 10+ detailed designs
• Must have provided technical leadership to Software Developers and other designers (general understanding of all key stakeholders involved during the design phase)
• Must have end to end stack experience (experience across different technical areas or domains - front end, integration and back end technologies)
