Software Tester

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include: Analyse use cases\/requirements for validity and feasibility Collaborate closely with other team members, including developers Execute all levels of testing (functional, user, integration, regression, domain, stress and scenario testing) depending on the software being tested Assist with UAT testing and training of users Detect, submit and test bugs Create and maintain documentation of test plans, reports and strategies (where necessary) to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved Analyse test results to advise stakeholders on the current state of the system and potential corrective action Test Automation Test in different environments including web and mobile Analyse logs and investigate the causes of failures of the live system Responsible for the release of the software to production environment Technologies used: JIRA Confluence Android MySQL Postman Chrome Dev tools (JavaScript snippets) Robot Framework Python Rancher RabbitMQ GitHub Kibana Employee Specification Qualifications Relevant Software Testing Certifications \/ Degree \/ Diploma Experience and Requirements 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role Appetite to learn new technologies \/ processes (you'll be joining a company that is committed to using the latest available technologies) Team player Experience in the FMCG market will be an advantage Experience in automation testing will be an advantage Good understanding of Databases and SQL Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman will be an advantage
