SUMMARY:
Solar Design Engineer needed – turn PV concepts into compliant, build-ready designs for C&I projects!

POSITION INFO:
A well-established player in the renewable energy space is looking for a Solar Design Engineer to support commercial and industrial solar projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys turning concepts into compliant, cost-effective solar designs.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proven experience designing solar PV systems (commercial and/or industrial)
Strong knowledge of PV layouts, system sizing, and electrical design
Proficient in relevant design software and engineering tools

Job Experience & Skills Required

Design and optimise solar PV systems from concept to implementation
Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and documentation
Support project teams with technical input and design validation
Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations
Collaborate with sales and project execution teams
