JOB SUMMARY:
A leading company who specialises in renewable energy services is looking for a Solar Systems Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience, who will be based in Central Johannesburg. The successful candidate should be willing to travel nationally and internationally.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

Matric.
Tertiary Qualification: BSc Eng. or BTech Electrical Engineering.
Beneficial: Relevant Masters degree.
Technical Requirements:

MS Office,
AutoCAD,
PVSyst,
PVSol,
Heliscope
ProfiCAD software.

Eligibility to register with ECSA beneficial.
3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to predict project costings.
Keeping up to date with all technological developments with regards to energy and solar energy.
Demonstrate innovative solutions to clients.
Will be responsible for technical and financial modelling.
Designing robust hybrid renewable and alternative energy systems.
Predicting project costs by managing as well as maintaining project costs to a minimum.
Leading and managing a team of engineers.
Handling multi-dimensional projects.
