Solar Service Engineer

Minimum Requirements

• Matric.
• Tertiary Qualification: BSc Eng. or BTech Electrical Engineering.
• Beneficial: Relevant Masters degree.
• Technical Requirements:
• MS Office,
• AutoCAD,
• PVSyst,
• PVSol,
• Heliscope
• ProfiCAD software.
• Eligibility to register with ECSA beneficial.
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible to predict project costings.
• Keeping up to date with all technological developments with regards to energy and solar energy.
• Demonstrate innovative solutions to clients.
• Will be responsible for technical and financial modelling.
• Designing robust hybrid renewable and alternative energy systems.
• Predicting project costs by managing as well as maintaining project costs to a minimum.
• Leading and managing a team of engineers.
• Handling multi-dimensional projects.
