Solution Expert [SOLEX] Team Leader

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities and priorities of the SOLEX team. Manage demand planning and resource allocation across projects. Mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance skills and performance. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute strategies that align with departmental and business objectives. Provide guidance on project priorities, planning, and execution. Project Deployment & Implementation Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of business applications and reporting solutions. Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for software systems. Oversee pre-go-live and post-go-live planning activities. Lead deployment readiness assessments and Go\/No-Go decision-making processes. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments where required. Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards. System Support & Continuous Improvement Manage application enhancements, upgrades, bug resolution processes, and system evolution. Oversee communication regarding system changes, releases, bug fixes, and enhancements. Ensure the stability and continuity of system integrations and interfaces. Liaise with vendors, external service providers, and third-party stakeholders. Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities. Business & User Support Provide expert-level support for business applications and related tools. Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis. Develop and maintain support procedures and documentation. Ensure business continuity through effective monitoring and issue resolution. Continuous Improvement Projects Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with technical teams and vendors. Configure, test, and validate system enhancements. Provide support throughout project implementation and post-deployment phases. Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and technology solutions. Training & Knowledge Transfer Develop and deliver engaging training programs for end-users and team members. Create and maintain training materials and documentation. Assess training needs and identify skills development opportunities. Stay informed on system enhancements, new features, and industry trends. Drive continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the team. Minimum Requirements Degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Project Management qualification or certification. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and implementation practices. Experience leading teams and managing application delivery projects. Strong understanding of business systems and software implementation processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience managing software support, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Advantageous Experience Knowledge of Freight Forwarding systems and business applications. Experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or Transport Management environments. Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS). SQL knowledge and experience. Exposure to finance-related systems and reporting processes. Experience working with external vendors and third-party system providers.
