Are you a visionary problem-solver with a passion for designing innovative technology solutions?
Our client in the mining industry is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team and help shape the future of their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

Lead solution design activities for business demands, retrospective solutions and artifact creation and verification.
Coordinate technical building activities during the execution and delivery phases.
Own and facilitate the creation of technical documentation required for Service Introduction and operational handover.
Provide technical guidance and issue resolution to project and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project planning and resourcing activities from a technical perspective.
Where appropriate, lead or support vendor-led sprints to deliver functionality using agile delivery practices.

Experience and Knowledge

Strong technical background in application and cloud based infrastructure architecture.
Solid understanding of mining technical systems and operational technology.
Extensive experience in system integration, particularly between Source Systems and data reporting layers.
Comfortable operating in dynamic environments where requirements evolve over time.
Good understanding of the mining value chain and associated business processes.
Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in solution architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and enterprise systems.
Strong knowledge of software design patterns, APIs, and microservices.
Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
A strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent proven experience in Solution Architecture.
Experience in Data Architecture is desirable.
Relevant solution architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Microsoft Azure certifications).
