Solutions Architect

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Solutions Architect for a role based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

The role of the Solution Architect encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):

Technical Planning

1) Investigation and submission of full report on the technical integration requirements of the legacy mainframe systems to Oracle e-Business Suite. 

2) Submission of a technical planning documentation for the implementation of Oracle HCM. 

Database Management

1) Investigation and submission of a full report on the Database merger of the legacy mainframe systems with Oracle e-Business Suite Data base structure. 

2) Unpacking the database naming convention on both the mainframe systems and Oracle e-Business Suite and proposing database changes to accommodate the legacy & new Oracle database. 

Data Management and Planning 

Investigation and submission of full report on:

1) Data input requirements.

2) Data migration strategy and requirements. 

3) Data cleansing strategy and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1) Degree (or equivalent 3 year+ Tertiary qualification) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.

2) Minimum of 5 years'' experience as a Solutions Architect or equivalent role.

3) Experience working in large organisations.

4) Experience with Oracle and / or Microsoft solutions and custom development.

5) Experience with cloud solutions, cloud services and cloud development.

6) Architecture modelling skills.

7) Have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.

8) Presentation and facilitation skills.

9) Sound organizing and planning skills.

10) Consulting experience in large enterprises.
