Solutions Architect

SUMMARY:
One of partners in the Labour Sector is looking for a Solutions Architect to help The role is responsible to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs, which include assessing design of software, coordinate and oversee technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.

POSITION INFO:

Responsilbilities

Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed

Building and integrating information systems in line with business strategy

Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it

Resolving technical problems as they arise, while enhancing the current SDLC policies

Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented

Maintain a register of technical debt with associated risk mitigation initiatives and be the sole risk owner of solution architecture

Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets. Management

Providing supervision and guidance to development teams

Skills and knowledge transfer within team

Build a strong quality assurance department

Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions

Monitor team’s KPIs and to assess technological performance

Requirements

12 years'' + experience within a development role

10 years'' experience in using relational databases

8+ years ‘experience within databases would be advantageous 5 + years’ experience within a solution architecture role

3 years’ experience in leading a team

3 years’ experience in microservice architecture

Experience within the Vaadin framework would be advantageous
