POSITION INFO:
Position Details Role: Azure Solution Architect Location: Primarily Sunninghill, Johannesburg (Hybrid\/Remote may be considered) Contract Duration: 12 Months Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Qualifications: Azure certified - Must provide certificates Travel: Occasional travel to hospital sites within 50km may be required. Required Skills & Experience The successful candidate should have strong experience in: Azure Architecture & Design Designing end-to-end Azure solutions aligned to business requirements Creating architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation Enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects Azure Infrastructure Services Azure Virtual Machines Networking Azure Storage Azure Database Services Azure AI Services Internet of Things (IoT) Security & Compliance Azure Security Center \/ Microsoft Defender for Cloud Azure Key Vault Cloud security best practices Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements Scalability & High Availability Azure Availability Zones Disaster Recovery solutions Load balancing and auto-scaling Business continuity planning Integration & Automation Azure Logic Apps Azure Functions API and application integrations Hybrid cloud integrations Monitoring & Optimization Azure Monitor Performance optimization Cost management and cloud financial governance Resource utilization reporting Additional Skills Power BI solution design and integration Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to work with infrastructure teams, developers, and business stakeholders Documentation, knowledge transfer, and training capability Strong understanding of Azure best practices and emerging technologies. Deliverables The resource will be responsible for: Solution architecture and design Azure cloud implementation guidance Security and compliance alignment Integration and modernization initiatives Cost optimization recommendations High availability and disaster recovery design Technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
