Solutions Architect

SUMMARY:
Develop AV / VC solutions to differentiate Vox from industry competitors, by designing innovative, financially viable and reliable solutions/systems that 100% satisfy customer needs and /or enable customers’ business transformation across the broad solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Job Objectives 

• The SA continually benchmarks Vox Telecom AV/VC solutions against latest industry product and solution developments and innovation and competitor offerings.
• Identify and build solutions that address common customer business challenges in specific industry verticals (financial services, tertiary education, hospitality etc)
• Works collaboratively with sales and engineering teams and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Support sales team, as required, to recommend and close AV opportunities.
• Build and foster relationships with other partners and customers
• Cultivate strong channel/supplier relationships and create a bi-directional lead flow with a goal of four leads per month: 

             audio-visual consultants,

             electrical consultants,

             property developers,

             property management companies,

             facilities management companies,

             space planners,

             project management companies and

             parallel industry business leaders (furniture manufacturers, architects etc)

• Productising offerings on these platforms at a functional and commercial level
• 3rd line support for Engineers and customers with OEM escalations and problem resolution
• Technical specialist with “High touch” customers.  Regular visits with customer technical representatives to discuss new and /or improved solution functionality.
• Customer days and internal events management and coordination in conjunction with the relevant internal departments and external organisations
• Customer retention and upselling initiatives
• Produce case studies
• Write and publish thought-leadership articles

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 5-10 years Sales Engineer / Pre-sales experience in an AV/VC product management environment.
• Minimum Extron AV Associate
• CTS preferred but can be set as KPI 
• 5-10 years Sales Engineer / Pre-sales experience in an AV/VC product management environment.
