Solutions Architect

SUMMARY:
Datacentrix is looking for Solutions Architect for with experience in interfacing with customers on architectural layer to be in a position to craft customer specific solutions.
Primary Role Accountabilities:

• Utilize Vendor configuration and pricing tools to configure final workable solutions (HPE/Aruba, DELL/EMC, Veeam, Huawei and others)
• Prepare solution documentation, proposals and presentations to final state
• Interact and collaborate with delivery teams to plan and assist with implementation of crafted solutions
• Stay abreast with relevant industry trends and technology
• Time slice indication
  • Solutions crafting and architecture : 70%
  • Planning and operational assistance : 20%
  • Industry analysis trends and technology : 10%

POSITION INFO:

Matric or Grade 12 Essential

Essential Knowledge/Skills

• Any or a combination of the below
  • HPE Server, Storage and/or networking architectural skills and qualifications
  • HPE Aruba networking architectural skills and qualifications
  • Cisco networking architectural skills and qualifications
  • Dell/EMC architectural skills and qualifications
  • Huawei architeural skills and qualifications
• Minimum 4 years Datacentre Enterprise experience and exposure
• Strong architecture integration capability over infrastructure stacks i.e. Storage, Server, Networking, Security and software layers
• The ability to utilise architecture skills in crafting and contributing toward Managed Services proposal generation
• The ability to contribute towards commercial decisions
• Experience of leading technical teams in complex datacentre implementation platforms
• At least in depth experience and certification into one technology area i.e. Server, Storage, Networking, Security or data protection
• Experience and knowledge of Hybrid cloud and cloud technologies will be beneficial
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
