JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect to implement, maintain and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of organizations and scale as organizations grow. As the Cloud Solutions Architect, you will have a great understanding of Windows Operating Systems, Cloud Platforms, continuous deployment to Azure platform, as well as On-Priem.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education and Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
4-6 years’ experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills

Competencies:

Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration, hardware
Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
Excellent analytical skill
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Technologies including Server 2012/2019, AD, AAD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, SAML
Solid understanding of cloud networking
Experience with Automation, CI/CD pipelines, Blue/Green Deployments
Demonstrated experience with DevOps toolsets - Team City, Octopus Deploy, Chef, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
Knowledge and experience in building and managing cloud solutions in Azure, and O365.
Ability to create and debug PowerShell scripts
Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum or variation) using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban
Proven knowledge and experience of ITIL service management concepts and practices
Understanding of APRA CPS234, PCI, ISO27001 and ASD Security Essentials
Expert knowledge of Cloud Hosting Platforms, App Modernization, Automation across Web, APIs, Databases and operating systems.
Thorough understanding of enterprise IT Strategies and Concepts
Knowledge of the latest industry trends and developments, including emerging technologies.
Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies, across a wide variety of technical disciplines.
Strong team orientation with highly developed collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
Adept at conducting research into technical products and issues as required.
Exceptional customer focus and service ethic.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to develop, mentor, and motivate others.
Working knowledge of applicable data privacy and security practices and laws.
Keen attention to detail.
Great problem solver and ability to think outside the box

Responsibilities:

Support the continuous improvement of Customer Experience by understanding and ensuring our existing and new customers'' expectations are met or exceeded.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in building Cloud VMs and migrating application workloads from Old VMs to New VMs, as well as modernize the application hosting by adopting PaaS over IaaS infrastructure.
Manage cloud-based infrastructure, such as, AWS, API Gateways, Lambda Functions, Elastic BeanStack, Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, IaaS VMs and others.
Provide technical high-level system and process documentation as required.
Work unsupervised towards tasks agreed with your line manager.
Drive the development of a mature and robust cloud hosting architecture.
Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards, including documentation, configuration, security, and change management.
Design and build Automated CI/CD Pipeline for Digital applications using Team City, GIT, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, etc.
