JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecommunications sector requires a Solutions Architect for a 7 Months contract (possibility of renewal).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role is to define, develop and maintain the domain architectures and designs for specific business functional/ technical areas and provide high-level roadmaps for the implementation of the solutions, aligning to a common technical direction ensuring accomplishment of the roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

Manages the Solutions Architecture governance
Ensures customer service solutions are aligned to the operational business plan
Contributes to business analysis processes
Provides specialist advice and knowledge sharing
Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilization of work-related resources
Participates in an applicable project to drive the solutions design, development, and implementation
Conducts research on architectural systems
Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
Solutions design and delivery
Manages architecture stakeholders and reviews and generates reports

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualification – Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Commerce (Informatics)
Preferred Qualification – Relevant Honours Degree
Experience – Minimum of five to eight years’ experience in software or solutions development and design within the financial services industry
Object Oriented Design, Test Driven Development, DevOps
Experience in designing, developing and delivering solutions based on the Microsoft Azure platform
Sound knowledge of Agile Methodology, DevOps, Configuration Management and Automation Tools
Certification in Digital / Telco / Financial subsystems a plus.
Industry qualification (TOGAF, ITIL or similar).
