SUMMARY:
Sourcing Specialist SSA required for a 1-year contract

POSITION INFO:

Summary of Role
Sourcing specialist to collaborate with clients'' internal stakeholders, understand the customer requirements, and offer viable solutions working with suppliers. Lead the Sub-Saharan Africa regional Sourcing
activities including vendor management, purchase order placement, and fulfillment, cost out initiatives
and localization.
Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate the vendors based on business requirement
Qualify the vendors with the right level of technical, commercial, and TRS guidelines
Onboard or amend vendors through supplier onboarding portal (HICX)
Ensure service contracts are available with strategic suppliers
PO Placement and fulfillment:
Handle the purchase requests for Direct and In-Direct materials or services
Obtain competitive bids and PO creation for qualified vendors via tools like SAP, Ariba
Order Fulfilment and supplier payments are addressed with internal teams
Cost Out Initiative:
Focus on Deflation, Cost Out, and Cash management by fulfilling client Compliance
Explore synergy opportunities within clients Product companies (DS, TPS, OFS & OFE) in Sub– Saharan African countries
Identify the cost out opportunities partnering with Bently Nevada cross-functional team - Sales,
Com ops, Projects, Services, Engineering,
Localization:
Sourcing value addition to enhance localization efforts in the SSA region
South Africa: Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE)
Nigeria: Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB)
West African countries: Angola, Ivory cost, Ghana, Congo, Senegal, and Equatorial Guinea
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least
3 years of experience in Sourcing).
Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Supplier Management.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge in handling tools like SAP, HICX, and Ariba
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills.
