JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Telecommunications industry has an opportunity available for a Sourcing Specialist: Technology to be based in the Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

3-year degree, Diploma or equivalent
Relevant professional qualification e.g. CIPS Level 4
Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
Procurement and Supply chain
Telecommunication and/or ICT (advantageous)
Experience in an Agile organization (advantageous)
Information technology knowledge (advantageous)
Digital and online solutions knowledge (advantageous)
Exposure to IT Programme delivery or IT Services operations (advantageous)
Experience in ERP (Oracle preferred)
Spend Analytics (Sievo preferred)
eSourcing Platform (Oracle preferred)
iCertis (contract management system)
Telecommunications industry experience (advantageous)
Word, Excel and PowerPoint

KPAs:

Sourcing as part of core customer service/experience and engagement
Prepare sourcing calendar to meet the anticipated requests
Identify potential bidders
Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers
Research the different categories of supplier market; and identify and gain knowledge of key suppliers in the local and international markets
Facilitate communication between internal customers and suppliers
Ensure queries are attended to and resolved within agreed SLA’s or reasonable timelines
