POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a Spare Parts Manager to join our team in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. As the Spare Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing spare parts sales, procurement, supply chain, and logistics functions. Reporting to the Operational Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships, pricing strategies, supplier development, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales function for spare parts and implement process roadmap
- Budgeting and forecasting order intake with roadmap planning
- Establish pricing and framework agreements for spare parts and repairs
- Monitor related KPIs, address concerns, and implement improvements
- Manage customer relationships, expediting customer orders
- Procurement and supply function oversight
- Develop suppliers to meet quality, price, and lead time requirements
- Pre-qualify suppliers, conduct site visits, and ensure correct pricing on SAP
- Logistics management and organization of transportation
- Work closely with agents for timely deliveries
- Ensure compliance with B-BBEE requirements
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):- Diploma in a relevant field
- Proven experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, and business development
- Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
