Specialist Business Process & Data Management Consultant: 1 year FTC: Remote

Qualification Required:

Area of study 1: BSc (Engineering) or B. Eng Engineering: Industrial Data processing / Analytics

Business process:

• Manage Business Processes are documented and available for all in Group Technology
• Advise business process owners on governance requirements
• Administrator/secretary for BPDM governance forum

Data Ownership:

• Establish and maintain data practices within Group Technology in line with Group Data Strategy
• Where applicable these practices must be driven out across the total Client organisation
• Understand Client’s Digitalisation strategy and business requirements for data
• Identify Data Steward community for Group Tech aligned to critical data elements identified
• Where applicable these practices must be driven out across the total Client organisation
• Engage Client Data Modelling COE and create and maintain Group Tech Data Model
• Take guidance from Client COE MDM function and establish Data Governance practices in Group Tech. Where applicable these practices must be driven out across the total Client organisation
• Establish and sustain governance forum that will drive agreed business rules for identified critical data elements
• Where applicable these practices must be driven out across the total Client organisation
• Participate in Client Global Governance structures
• Work with the Data Management Engineering COE team to continuously improve and optimise the DQ and MDM that support the data projects required by business
• Work with security teams to understand all security and privacy requirements of the DQ and MDM solution
• Recommend appropriate scope of requirements and priorities with regards to DQ and MDM
• Identify opportunities to improve business value through the implementation of DQ and MDM solutions

Focus areas for this position will be accountable for include:

• Establish Data Steward community accountable for Data Quality projects and data quality delivery in general
• Establish Data Governance forum to define and govern associated data business rules and data quality rules
• Contribute Group Tech Data Model to Client Enterprise Model through working with Client Data Modelling COE
• Understand COE tools and methodologies and enable Group Tech Data Management activities
• Align to Client overall Data Management/Governance activities
• Define overall value of Data in Group Tech and the potential improved value through data quality initiatives
• General leadership in Data Management and Client Data Strategy in Group Tech
