SUMMARY:
Are you an ambitious sales professional who knows how to turn opportunities into business?
Our client is looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist - Africa to take ownership of new business growth across the African continent. This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales hunter who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and developing opportunities across multiple markets.
You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, developing market opportunities and building a strong commercial presence across Africa.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Drive the identification and acquisition of new customers across Africa Research markets and uncover opportunities for growth in both established and emerging territories Develop targeted approaches for different African markets Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities Take ownership of the sales process from initial engagement through to negotiation and closure Develop trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers Grow and manage strategic customer relationships Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts Develop commercial proposals and deliver presentations to prospective customers Monitor market activity, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new opportunities Work towards and consistently exceed agreed revenue and sales targets Requirements: At least 5 years' experience in B2B sales or business development A strong track record of winning new business and delivering against sales targets Demonstrated experience selling into African markets Experience dealing with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers The ability to manage longer and more complex sales processes Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills A proactive, self-driven approach with a genuine new-business mentality In sending your CV, you confirm that you have read and understood our POPI Policy found on our website Should you be unsuccessful for this particular position, you have no objection to us retaining your personal information in our database which you confirm is true, correct and up to date.
