A leading organisation in the financial services industry is looking for an experienced Specialist Developer to join their dynamic and fast-paced IT team. POSITION INFO:

About the Role

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications while leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, architect solutions to complex business requirements, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
6+ years’ experience developing software applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#.NET
6+ years’ SQL development experience (MSSQL)
Strong experience with stored procedures, triggers, and indexing
Experience developing and integrating web services and REST APIs

Advantageous

Experience with: jQuery, Java, PHP
Experience designing and developing complex software applications

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET and VB.NET
Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports
Work closely with internal developers and third-party providers to deliver products on time
Enhance and maintain the existing codebase; develop new features and improvements
Analyse business and technical requirements and design high-performance solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve software or integration issues
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
Document technical implementations and system changes
Apply best practices in database development and administration
Provide application support to business users when required
Quickly learn new technologies and systems as needed
