SUMMARY:
Our client based in Johannesburg is looking for a Specialist, Healthcare, Business Clients SA to originate new clients and build own portfolio within the Healthcare segment (e.g., creating a Healthcare network and growing the Healthcare book)

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

  • Business Commerce degree
  • Relevant FAIS Qualification
  • 5-7 years
  • Previous sales, relationship management experience within Business and Consumer Clients as well as experience with Healthcare clients

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with all segment teams i.e. Consumer and HNW Clients, Commercial Clients, Wholesale Clients to achieve the outcomes of the Healthcare sector within province
  • Collaborates with the Client Coverage teams to achieve the outcomes of the Healthcare sector in province
  • Engages with clients as required for the provision of services and manages key healthcare client relationships in the province
  • Identifies prospective healthcare clients and prepares relevant solutions that suit their unique requirements (from a personal and/or practice perspective) in order to drive market share growth for the segment
  • Focuses on providing optimal services and improving service delivery to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Meets or exceeds service delivery targets in support of operational objectives
  • Builds long-term mutually beneficial relationships with customers
  • Offers appropriate solutions to meet customer needs
  • Provides customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service options
  • Builds working relationships across teams and functional lines in order to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
  • Implements Healthcare acquisition processes and provides input into enhancement and streamlining of existing processes
  • Prevents wastage, and on an ongoing basis identifies process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs.
  • Manages costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies
  • Identifies, controls and escalates potential risks which may lead to increased costs
  • Delivers against operational and cost targets
  • Achieves revenue targets by either growing a portfolio of existing clients (optimising revenue opportunities) or by acquiring new clients from the Medical Profession
  • Prepares the necessary credit applications for approval by Credit
  • Adheres to risk management and governance standards
  • Achieves the financial budgets through acquisition of quality healthcare business
  • Recommends pricing concessions where appropriate, within policy guidelines
  • Conducts business development trend analysis in order to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Develops a deep understanding of the technical trends, market, competition and trends in the market
  • Researches and identifies new entrants in the relevant industries (mobile, payments, finance, etc)
  • Assesses opportunities and threats from these entrants
  • Maintains knowledge on all Company approved products
  • Maintains knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedure, processing and timelines in order to drive and achieve relevant sales targets
