Specialist Transformation

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• To develop, implement and manage a robust and integrated Transformation roadmap, policies, procedures and initiatives in line with legislative and compliance requirements (e.g. the DTI Construction Sector Codes, Employment Equity Act, MPRDA and Mining Charter) in respect of the company’s BEE ownership, Socio Economic Development as well as Preferential Procurement and Supplier Development commitments.
• To manage and develop the company''s Supplier Development programme.
• Develop and implement company’s incubation model and guidelines in collaboration to Strategic Marketing as part of the company Route to Market Strategy.
• Partner with the business owner to manage ownership requirements and assist in developing ownership strategies and in seeking approvals from legislators and board
• Partner with the business owner to manage and develop skills development strategies to ensure the appropriate spend is focused in the right areas.
• Partner with the business owner to manage management control strategies to ensure company workforce is representative of the country demographics.
• Collaborate and contribute to CSI and SLP activities that are aligned with company strategic focus areas.
• Stakeholder relations management and resource mobilization
• Maintain and monitor relations with transformation agencies, government departments, and private sector companies
• Develop monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports as when needed by RSA MD, SETCO, Exco and Board,Implement and monitor compliance measures including the submission of reports for the company group to DTI, DMR and BEE Commission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

• Relevant degree in Human Resources or Supply Chain

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 5 years BEE experience within the mining or construction industry.
• Strong ability to manage a wide spectrum of external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, government, and industry associations.
• Knowledge of and trends in the transformation environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• In-depth knowledge, understanding and application of BEE legislation, Amended B-BEE Codes, policies and practices
• Knowledge of Amended Construction Sector Code (CSC), DTi Revised Codes of Good Practice (RCoGP), the Mining Charter, Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities and deliver high quality output under pressure
• Working with key strategic leaders and stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Strong networking and transformation skills
• Excellent mediation skills with the ability to assist in finding suitable and viable resolutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
